Four New Boys For Harriers (August 06, 2008)
Kidderminster Harriers have confirmed the permanent signing of four triallists as they prepare for the Blue Square Premier season.
Martin Riley, Martin Brittain, Sam Foley and David McDermott have all signed contracts at Aggborough.
The players have put pen-to-paper after impressing during Harriers' pre-season training and friendly matches.
Brittain, Foley and McDermott have all signed one-year deals, while Riley joins on a short-term contract.
Attacking midfielder McDermott, 20, joins after he was released byCoca-Cola League One side Walsall following thirteen first-team appearances last season.
Winger Brittain came through the youth ranks at Newcastle United before breaking into the first team.
The 23-year old has also featured for Ipswich, Yeovil and Walsall and has impressed supporters in pre-season with some good deliveries from wide areas and set plays.
Riley, 19, is a tall, commanding central defender who was handed a first-team squad number with Wolverhampton Wanderers last term after coming up through the ranks at Molineux, whom he initially joined as a 13-year old.
He has England under-20 honours and also spent time with Shrewsbury Town last season.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old midfielder Foley joins after being released by League One outfit Cheltenham Town.
