‘Midland Combination Premier Division team Massey Ferguson F.C. have completed a deal with the Meningitis Trust for the 2008-09 season. The deal will see the Tractor Boys forego their usual shirt sponsorship in order to display the logo of the Gloucestershire based charity. Community Development Officer Matt Croxall said “The Meningitis Trust is extremely proud to be associated with such a community minded club as Massey Ferguson. Anything that helps raise awareness about the effects meningitis can only be a good thing, and this relationship will certainly enable us to do just that.”
Massey Ferguson’s association will go much further than shirt sponsorship for the year, with a whole host of events planned for throughout the 2008-09 season, including a balloon launch, awards ceremony and charity exhibition match.
