Daventry Town Prepare For New Test (June 02, 2008)
Daventry Town manager Martyn Walker has moved already to strengthen his first-team squad in preparation for Daventry Town`s return to the United Counties League Premier Division next season.
Walker has secured the signature of rivals Daventry United's twenty-nine-goal top scorer Tommy Waldock.
Another close season signing, 17 year old Daniel Gibson, will also keep the other front men at the club on their toes after spending five years on Leicester City's books.
The third close-season signing for Daventry Town is former Long Buckby midfielder Andrew Gordon, who has moved back to the area from Southampton. Click here to return to the News page
